Bargain shopper-if you like to pick up a few extra items at the grocery store for The Storehouse, then please sign up for this weekly email list. It will point you to the foods that are on sale and that we really need, as well as where to find coupons to make those deals even better
Prayer warrior-we have a group of Prayer warriors who pray over prayer requests weekly.
Newsletter-if you do not want to get as many emails as the people on the volunteer list do, but would still like to keep up with what is going on at The Storehouse, you can sign up for our Newletter email. It comes out quarterly, and has the Newsletter attached.
Delivery or pick-up person - usually during the day
We would like a list of people who live close to the church who could be on a call list if we need a delivery of food taken to a school or homebound person. This does not happen very often, and you might be called once every couple of months. Another list is for people who can help pick up food from a food drive and deliver it to The Storehouse. You have to be able to lift heavy boxes. It usually doesn’t take long if we have 3-4 people helping. 90% of our food drives are between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Are you creative? We would love to have someone come up with creative and cheap ideas to thank our volunteers once or twice a year.
Bargain shopper Email Coordinator - Are you great at finding bargains, collecting coupons, etc.? Do you have a couple of hours on Sunday and/or Monday that you could put together our Bargain Shopper’s Email?
Stocker - We need stockers to help keep the food organized and on the shelves. We have people who commit to one week/month and just come in when they can during that week. We also have people who try to come in on Tuesday afternoon to help us get ready to open on Wed. morning. We will need a stocker or two on the 2nd & 4th Monday afternoons to prepare it for our evening hours.

*Packing and carrying out- We need people, especially on Wed. am, who are willing to pack bags of groceries and help to carry them out to vehicles.
*Shopping with clients-These volunteers form the relationships with our clients. They shop, visit, listen, and pray with the clients. We ask volunteers to be there early, and be prepared to stay until 30 minutes after closing if needed.
